• JAN 20, 2005 CrimeStoppers seeks anonymous tips on robbery, theft
The McHenry Area CrimeStoppers and McHenry Police seek information regarding a robbery at Kaleidoscoops, 3722 W. Route 120, McHenry.
The robbery occured at 8:30pm Jan. 20.
• JAN 18, 2004 Wallet Stolen
CrimeStoppers also seeks information regarding the theft of a wallet from a shopping cart at 3pm Jan. 18 at Meijer, 2253 N. Richmond Road, McHenry.
• JAN 7, 2005 CrimeStoppers seeking tips about recent thefts in city
McHenry Area CrimeStoppers is seeking information about two thefts in McHenry.
Between 1:30 and 4:30am Jan. 7, someone broke into Main Street Saloon, 3914 Main St., and took an unspecified amount of cash.
Between 8am and 1pm Jan. 20, somebody entered a home in the 500 block of Kensington Drive in McHenry and removed a Sony Playstation.
• JUN 2, 2004 The Car Grill is Gone
A complete grill, turn signal assembly, sun roof, visors, and door window visors were removed from a MAzda pickup by person/s unknown while parked at the "All Truck Stop" located at 3021 Route 120.
• APR 10, 2004 Hand Tools Stolen
An assortment of hand tools valued at $4,000 was stolen from a construction gang box at a construction site located in the 2700 block of Route 120 in McHenry on or about April 10, 2004.
• APR 9, 2004 Fire Damaged a Boat
On April 9th, at approximately 1am, a 16 foot aluminum boat that was stored on a trailer in the 4100 block of Crystal Lake Road was destroyed by a suspicious fire. The fire also caused damage to the adjacent building.
• FEB 28, 2004 Jewelry Stolen
On or about Feb. 28 person/s unknown had taken several items of jewelry from a residence located in the 3600 block of John Street, McHenry.
REWARD FOR INFORMATION CONCERNING FIREARMS
CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of $50 for information leading to the recovery of an illegal gun in a public place.
CrimeStoppers believes that safety in our schools, on our school buses, and on our playgrounds should be a top priority throughout our community. Anyone with information regarding a crime is asked to call 1-800-762-7867.
Information can be provided anonymously, and those providing information that leads to arrests are considered for cash rewards of as much as $1,000.
CrimeStoppers does not use caller ID, but those who are concerned are encouraged to use a payphone.
